Hey Cranky-by your reel messing up do you mean you get big loops of line on the spool that get all knotted up? If so, easy fix: Take it outside, no lure, hook, swivel, anything tied to it, grab the end of the line and start walking. When you get to the end, set the line down and reel it back on using your fingers to keep it tight on the spool. Line twist is the culprit, and as you reel it back on it will untwist as it goes between your fingers. If you don't walk it off-just pull it off and wind it back on-you will probably have all kinds of tangles to deal with. Trust me on this one-lesson learned the hard way .

yeah thats probably it. id do it now... well actually id be fishing now but we're in the middle of a giant rainstorm

yeah see when i cast the line starts skipping and getting caught up in random places. i can rarely ever get to the right spot. also, i need more line on this reel. half of it is nicked anyways... yeah i think ill go change my line. actually i shouldnt change all of it, there is nice line behind the bad.

Those t-rigs look good cranky, but try to tie the line on the hook first, then push the eyelet farther back into the body of the worm. This gets the hook more towards the rear and makes it a little more weedless.Click image for larger version

ok well now im really ticked. i just lost this backage. it was on top of my car's hood, and my dad who promised he'd stay home and spend time with me becuase he didnt take me fishing LEFT!!! and more importanyly, i cant find those powerworms, hooks, the weight but most importantly the HAWG SAUCE!!!

and zook- i was thinking that those bullet weights would be more weedless... since theyre skinnier. yesterday i fished a blunt nosed bullet weight and got weeds on it every time. possibly because i didnt peg it. m cress- thanks for the tip, ill try that
