I was stupid and saltwater fished with it. It over stressed with 19 hours of straight pier fishing, we broke 3 reels total b/c of all the skate over stressingthe drag.

Try a pfleuger echelon, as good as most 100+ reels you'll buy for $60, or maybe a daiwa 6+1 for about 10 bucks more.

Nevermind, I'm gonna save up, and buy a nice reel either a Pfleuger, or the Rick Clunn. I cleaned up my reel, and it should work until I can afford a new one.

IMO.....Everyone keeps sleeping on the Abu Garcia Torno (3004 model with 6.3 to 1 ratio) Great reel, normally runs for $115-125 but you can get it for $44 plus shipping ($8) on Ebay. I don't sell them on Ebay and don't know the people who do. I have two Torno's but unfortunately they don't make them in a left hand model or I would have more. Saw last weekend that a lot of pro's on Oneida were using them.

I have looked at them, but I really like the Rick clunn reel. Thats the one Ill probably be purchasing. Do you reccomend this one or do you thinkl I should still get a Torno? I wont buy from ebay, bc I want a warranty and stuff.
