First day on the new boat.
Well, finally gave in few weeks ago and bought a boat. Was tired from fishing from land. Got the hitch installed on my jeep yesterday, and was ready to go today. Sadly, me and my friend couldn't for the life of us figure out how the trailer goes on the hitch. It took us a good hour, untill we finally figured it out, LOL.
Anywho, took it to a place down the street from me. Used jointed Rapala before the lilly pads. Me and my friend caught 2 12" or so pike, and another fish that was probably 6" but got off the line. Sorry, forgot to bring the digital camera, but this made me want to fish even more!! |

caught me a decent size today. Had a lot of hits, but this only one caught on a rapala top water lure. around 6pm.. was around the lilly pads and 1 fallen log... i saw it strike, then got confused as it tugged.. then i felt nothing.. and i was stuck on the log.. so i pulll myself to the log, to find out i'mnot stuck on the log, but the bass is wrapped up in my line with weeds all overh im.. sorry if this doesnt make sense.. just came back from the bars.. i love being 21 hahah

Good job kevin, I can understand what you mean, but where were the hics?

Ask tom, or JB, that stands for hiccups, when you're drunk.
