Default today's trip

Alright folks! finally, caught me some bass... 2. they were both around 8 inches. Was going to ake a picture, but of course my dad wanted the camera to take pics of my sister... dangit. Ok, well then i got a cat on the line. Reb, thanks a lo for the tip! unfortunately it decided it didn't want to be hooked anymore and somehoe got it out. Circle hooks don't set in very good. Well then i headed over to the picnic (my dad's company picnic). and a few of the guys there happened to be fishermen. And it also happens that this awesome guy, John, lives in hackettstown and knows the head biologist of fish in NJ... they're over his house every weekend. We will be fishing sometime soon. Then i met this guy Dave who lives up in washington (hey tom, don't you live there?) And he fishes Spruce run, and merril creek, but mainly saltwater... he caught a bunch of fish at the gulf of mexico! He got 9 different species. He says his neighbor freshwater fishes. Then another guy who decided he wanted to watch me fish. Which was terrible because whenever i thought i hada fish and set the hook it was nothing.... Wow, spinnerbaits feel jsut like a resisting fish. and when you et a bit of snot moss on it it feels like you got a hit. I made a video of me casting and retreiving a spinnerbait Just to be like Ratlnator, but I can't upload it.
Tried using a frog on this:

but of course the rip off walmart kind had no action and the knot fell out of the hook eye.

Kept casting under this tree with a yellow spinnerbait... Didn't catcha thing, and ended up getting snagged. I decided it was worth going through thorns and wading for. Only regret is that the bassthumb is barely visible...
