Spinnerbait & Jig Bass today 5/14/05 (photos)
Well the weather here in Memphis was pretty terrible for humans, but good bassin' weather. I didn't take my boat out due to the thunder and lightning, so I made my way to a local city lake and did some bank fishing. I started out throwing a plastic worm with no luck. So I chunked a jerkbait a few times, and still nothing! At that point I started to get a little irritated and decided to tie on a Strike King spinnerbait and land these 2 keepers.....
  After the spinnerbait bite died I tied on a BPS Lazer eye black & blue Jig with a purple Yum craw trailer and landed the rest of the bass on the same Jig. All the bass were all around the same average size 2-3 pounds give or take a few ounces. Here are the photos......      I'm not angry in the photos, I was trying to concentrate on holding the bass and snapping the photos. All in all I had a pretty good time. |
