Shadow Lake

here is that lake i was tellin you about a while ago at river bend county forest preserve. its pretty much a gravel pit. its beautiful, i got there when it opened at 8 and took a 20 min bike ride to the lake. only caught one fish, 2 pounder id say. and i spent pretty much the same amout of time walking around the lake than fishing, the water was lower than last time so i could walk across part of it next to a cove and i got to a whole nother half of the lake. anyway hewre are a few pics.

you should carry a scale with you.glad you caught a bass,but that one is under a pound.beautiful looking lake.

nice bass, those black dots are paracites that are moved from lake to lake from birds, its a shame to see a nice body of water infected like that

nice lake and good job..idk about 2 pounds...maybe a pound or less...

um i have a scale but its a cheapo walmart one and doesnt quite work well. also those black dots are dirt lol i kinda droped him when he stuck me. thanks iron i like it too, it used to be my dads, he got it from smoking camels lol they have those oints oin the bottoms of the pack and he got that. the fish measured 14.25 inches
