Bassintxlady and I, finally got out this past weekend and went to Fayette County Resevoir. We've taken some time off from fishin for some much needed home improvements, costly ones too I might add, anywho, we caught 11 bass in the 9 hours we where there, but much to my disappointment, the water temp is still up in the mid eighties over most of the lake. Near the warm water return, (Fayette County Reservoir is a power plant lake) the water temp was 99 degree's on my FF. Needless to say, we did not fish there, we simply did an about face and went back to fish cooler water. In the winter, this lake is the place to go, since the power plant water return will heat the entire body of water throughout the winter. Don't bother going there during the summer, unless you thrive on lots of sunshine and hot water. Work is starting to slow somewhat, and I hope to get out those plastics and unwanted lures to those of you who responded to my posting from a couple of months ago. I'll post a notice to you all after getting those out on fedex.
