Angry How bad does this suck?

This past spring i was starting to get serious about bass fishing i had a lund that we added a fishing platform to the front and back, and had a Johnson 30hp on the back. I brought the boat from my girlfriend house (because she has a garage and i dont), I got the boat ready to go. My dad was coming down to do some fishing. i went to class and by the time i got back the motor was gone off the back. I was seriously gone for an hour in the middle of the day. So now i got a 1976 Johnson 9.5 on the back.

those are some big fish you got there in your pics, remember that the fact that you can get out on the water is the most important thing.

one day, your misfortune will be answered with luck

Man i know how you feel. A couple of weeks ago me, my girlfriend, my buddy and his wife went fishing. We were on the water for a couple of hours and when we got back to the truck someone had busted the back side window out and had stolen her purse that was hidden in the floor. The guy used her credit card for like 130 bucks. They have him on video tape, but the cop has to go through the corporate office of wawa because he used it in a different state( we are 10 minutes from Maryland). Still haven't heard anything yet.

That does suck. I live in charleston,IL and there are alot of meth heads and stiff gets stollen all the time, too bad i found out the hard way. I dont know if it is true but i was telling my story to a DRN officer an d he told me the they got a 200 Hp outboard stolen off the back of the DNR boat while it was in the DNR office parking lot. So from now on i take my 1976 johnson 9.5 off the back and bring it inside.

Have you checked with your car insurance company? I'm not sure how it works, but if you have full coverage you would think that it would cover your boat also since it was hooked up to your vehicle.

Just a thought

tried that but it would not work because my truck only has liability, we also tried home owners insurance and that did not work either. The only good thing is that i can still fish, because we got the free 9.5 from an elderly man that we know.

A thief is a thief no matter how you put it. If he wants something it doesn't matter how well you lock it up or hide it, he will get it. Sometimes it may take him a little longer, but rest assured, he'll get it.
Don't put items in out of the way places, he has more time to get it with out being seen.
Police officers cruise through parking lots at motels, but when there gone (even for a couple minutes) things get stolen in that short amount of time.
Especially while staying at motels, cover your boats, take all tackle or any thing else of value in the room.
These ideas may slow him down, but rest assured he's a thief, no matter how you put it.
