Boones Landing (Middle Willamette)
Willamette Park (Lower Willamette)
Lakeside (Ten Mile)
Front: LCX15, console: LMS20c
Runs great! Makes short/dry work of big water and handles on rails. Boat is extremely responsive. I highly doubt that there is another brand of boat that can compare to Champion's when it comes to precision handling and big water capability (well..... the Triton 20X2 is right there though).
Great hole shot with a 200 and the gas mileage is good. Boat runs out at around 71mph.
The storage is great, fits 8' swimbait rods. Love the canvas straps on the storage compartments as opposed to the metal levers that get left up, stepped on, and then bent. Front deck is very wide and tapers out quickly to it's max beam (7'9"). Very easy boat to fish 2 from and the single console make for a good fishing platform.
The boat is a bit "bow-proud" (aka. rides high up front), so it is a bit more of a stretch to lip fish in, not terrible though. Not to mention that the boat was engineered this way to make for a better/safer/faster/dryer rough water ride. I'll take that trade any day of the week.
The boat originally belonged to Skeet Reese and has his name embroidered on the passenger seat. I wish it didn't. No offense Skeet, I am a fan, I just don't want your name on my boat!
