The Optimax 75 really gets this boat out of the hole quickly without hardly any bow rise. Fuel consumption is very reasonable. The wide beam makes this boat very stable on the water. Handles great in the turns and takes on choppy water well. Alot of storage area and the dual live wells are a great convenience when fishing with more than 1 person. You don't have to get up and go across the boat to drop your fish! The rear plastic lined compartments are great if you want to use one as a "built in ice-chest" since they are equipped with drains.
Not much on top end as max speed is just around 38-39mph on the GPS. Had to install side bunk guides on the trailer to make it a little easier trailering the boat in heavy current or wind. The trolling motor was not well supported, so tie-down straps had to be installed to keep it from bouncing in rough water.
