The most liked thing I like about this boat is the solid, dry ride. These R-81's are rocket ships. 74 MPH GPS. The boat has everything an angler needs without all the bells and whistles. The construction , fit and finish is top shelf. . The boat is now ten years old and I have had no problems at all. This boat is on the water three days a week. The live well is fantastic. In all the years of tourney fishing I never lost a fish. I think that has to do with the insulated livewell system. That's the other great thing about these Rangers is the foam. Keeps the boat quiet and solid. Pluse it won't sink. Lots of bass boats can't say that!
Fuel milage on the EFI 175. I did call Mercury and asked about that.. Their official response was back in 2000 gas was o nly 99 cents a gal and they didn't give it much thought. Keep in under 4500 rpm and you can live with it. No other dislikes at all, one good boat!
