I am not a huge Lowrance fan. I will be upgrading them to Humminbird later.
I love the rough water ride! I have 3 buddies who have Champions (2 of them have 210 Elites and the other has a 198), and their boats don't have anything on my Triton when it comes to smooth dry rides. This boat is very fast. Right now I am running a 25p Temptes prop and at 6000 RPM's I am getting 75mph (GPS) . This winter when my tourney schedule calms down I am going to try a few other props and I expect to see a possible small gain in speed but I am most of all looking to help the handling of the boat. The front deck is HUGE! When pre-fishing I have a ton of rods scattered all over the front deck and there is still plenty of room to move around. The storage on this boat is amazing, it has tons of storage and I love how it is all layed out. This boat handles fishing big water extremely well but it is also a pleasure to fish shallow water out of it too.
You really have to drive it. The chine walk can be tricky to get used to correcting but it didn't take too much seat time before I felt confident in my ability to drive the boat safely at high speeds.
I did have a fuel problem that ended up being a defect by Triton. The pick up tube in the fuel tank was too long and was getting kinked off on the bottom of the tank and this was keeping the motor from getting enough fuel at high RPM's.
