OK, first, here is where I have been buying my stuff:
http://www.staminainc.com/main.html Now, as to the components: I like the King spinnerbait heads-more lifelike. They range from 1/4 oz. to 1/2 oz. Beads-5/32" Clevis-#3 Nickle Swivel-they are listed as spinnerbait swivels. Blades-take your pick. I use mid-range sizes-3 & 4. On a 1/2 oz. bait I may use a size 4.5 willow, but any bigger than that you get too much torque IMO. If I'm making a single Colorado bait I use a 5 or a 6, usually a 6. Skirts-I like the Starflash skirts-the silicone is round and they have I think 50 strands. I also like one of the Barbed Wire jig skirts-it is called blue ghost. Tools: I use 3, you can get by with 2: A pair of needle nose and a pair of split ring. I also use a pair of wire loop pliars. The jaws are round designed to bend loops in wire. Takes about 2 minutes to make one if everything is close at hand. Hope this helps!
