when the water is rising they have access to new food sources, when the water is falling they run the risk of beaching themselves, therefore they tend to go to deeper structure/cover.

A lot of the forage moves in the newly flooded brush, bramble and timber, and the bass will follow.

with rodman on this. just also know this is not always the case..certain lakes it for some reason runs backwards..
