I was just curious about how many guys if any, use SPIKE IT on a regular basis ?
I just tried it out the other day and after my first "dip" caught a decent size bass. Does anyone else use this product? |

I use chartreuse and also the red Spike-It, but I buy mine from CB's Hawg Sauce with the sauce mixed in.
I also use Bass Boat Saver to clean it off the boat. WAR

JB,
Spike-It makes a neutralizer that will remove the dye from carpet and off of glass! JackL

What exactly does spike it do? I will have to do some reading on it.
I am guessing its a quick dye.

Its in a bottle, kinda looks like mountain dew, green/chartruse liquid, that stains plastics to give a chartruse look...many times anglers will tip the tail on a plastic worm to give it some chartruse attractant to the fish..

even if ya apply it over the water instead of in the boat, it stains everything...your best bet is to spike the plastic a day or two and have them ready before ya go out, then no mess unless ya run out and have to make more..
Actually, I remember when they came out with the Spiket It, the product came out, and once the rubber worm market caught on to anglers wanting that chartruse on thier punkin or black worm, they all started selling imitations of those color combos.. Its the same deal with scent additives and now they all have it in the formula... Still Spike It is worth having in your arsenal |
