Ive never had much luck at all night fishing on my 8 acre lake. I have tried, and even shone the light around to find bass just sitting there, "sleeping" and wont move until I touch them, and then they dart off like I started them. What should I do to produce more fish at night? Im going out tonight.

One of my favorite night time lures is the Jitterbug. Give it a try. Other than that, I don't do much nightfishing so I won't be much of a help.

Well, to start with, Texas, PUT DOWN THE ^$%%#~! flashlight! That isn't helping anything. Actually it has a negative effect. Quit "touching" them (whatever THAT might mean in your post.) Sight-fishing is NOT accepted nighttime activity.
When fishing in daylight do you spot bass and poke at them before you cast? Just fish! Fish with proven nighttime lures and tactics and work at it. Many of us here love to nightfish for bass and we're all willing to help you in any way we can. L6 |

ok What you want is a Boo-Yah Buzzbait, these buzzbaits have an extra peice to them then a regular buzzbait that hits up against the blade and i swear the damn thing sounds like a helicopter or a motor boat, i mean these things are LOUD, i just tried it out for the first time two nights ago and caught 2 big ones. I probably would have caught more but the lakes i fished in had very few bass to begin with. My two buddies i was fishing with had a mini buzz and a cavitron buzzbait on and the only one that even got hit was mine. So i would definitely try it, if they are sleeping it shuld wake em up lol. Lemme know if you use it and if you have any success

i agree with the boo-buzz.. buzzes produce good anyway and theirs has and added sound Make it black instead of whiite. I caught several lst week at night on a buzz but it was black with a black and red trailor. Acvtually they will hit anything at night that they hit during the day if they can see it. I only fish at night from mid may until mid September. Shining lights in the water randomly will spook the fish but lights that are always on ie dock lights yard lights etc, will often attract bait and bass. My main night time baits are T rigged worms, short arm single spins, jigs, or grubs. This time of the summer I really like short armed single spins in black/purple./ Fish2win

![]() seriously though, I really like the booyah buzzbaits as well, although they are not the only ones that come with a clacker. I recently purchased one of the Bi-you buzzbaits from booyah (9.99) and love it. The double blades keep it form rolling over, and with the double blades you can reel it very slowly. BB

give em a shot personally I've never tried them but like everything else they prob will catch a fish . usually when we head out at night we are fishing for pike and outside of a dark spinner that kills them up here and usually works well for bass we don't try much else
