Finally got out

Well up until when I walked in the door after work this afternoon I thought it would be a while before I got to fish again , I was working on my wife all afternoon to be able to take the boys out for a few hours and when I got home i was given the green light . I would post pics of the night but I only got a dink and a couple pickerel but I completely enjoyed the time out with my sons and that's what counted , I can't wait for the fall bass bite to pick up as the pickerel seem to be the only fish patrolling the shores right know .

Better than nothing I guess. Gald to hear ya got out. We have'nt been able to get out. It's been raining for two days and we have not trolling motor. Normally neither of those would stop me, but together it's just lousy. We read the Smallies are hitting on the river so we'r egonna go check it out tonight.

thats awesome that you got out with your kids dude.. my little nephew always wants to come fishin with me but i usually only bring him trout fishing.. At least you guys landed some fish, even if they are the toothy little critters that i hate so much, lol..

Good luck with the smallies BB it's been work keeping me from getting out but a couple more weeks and that will change .
