Thos Crazy Crawlers work really well for topwater at night. Truly unique action...
GREAT FINDS! I second what Bama said |

That red and white one looks like it would have similar action to a Jitterbug. The gold one just looks like a old crank bait.

I see alot of lures my dad had and wish I still had them from the 50s
I see several lazy ikes, a cripplekiller, lots of popR's. Some newer stuff to, like the spook and some pop rs, torpedos and chug bug... those metal crazy wobblers have a time n place on top water too.. If it were me I'd put the older ones on display or all of them, instead of using them....well maybe use the newer stuff LOL damnit@baitmonkey itus ![]() |

top picture has 2 chugbugs 3 rapala pop-r's and a rebel popper..
the prop bait in the second row is a rapala they no longer make them. the top row left hand bait is from the mid 60's the third bait from the left is late 50ish.. if the wart has a metal lip it was made before 84. if it is a plastic lip like a crankbait has it was made between 84 and 95 after 95 the lip was molded with the body as a one piece bait-they were made from wood till 95.. the lil metal lipped crank is either a heddon or a bagleys heddon would have the company name all over it even back then -they have been doing that since the early 30- if no name it's a bagleys but i am not sure which one.. btw ifin ya ever want to sell that crank on the bottom row second from the left let me know first..i know what an orginal killer b looks like when i see one..-and have paid out the hole for them too.. zooker

The red and white top water plug is a Crazy Crawler. It was popular in the 50"s and early 60"s. I would call it a predessor to the Buzz Bait. when cranked it rock sides to side and makes a sound like a jitterbug. I have one exactly like it that I have not fished in years and dont know that I have ever caught a fish on it. I think itb was made by Heddon.
