Finally!
I did as I was told and ripped his freaking jaws out! And wouldn't you know it, he stuck!
Also he is my biggest of the year, and my first over a pound. My biggest previous to this guy was 12oz. I took him on a bass magic swimbait, in baby bass, on a #4 gammy swimabait hook. 1lb 2oz  One from the other night on a baby bass fluke rigged shaky.

THAR YA GO BIG BAD JOHN!!!! dats how ya do it buddy. nice coloring on that fish too. pretty and bright. those gills showing happens to me sometimes too. it is like they flair em out or something.

Wow, sorry guys, bad week for me, and I didn't get any emails for replies.
The red color is blood. It's not from the gills, it's from where I hooked him. Musta hit a small vien or something. He was ok though. Swam off like a champ. Thanks!
