Truman Lake, MO in the Fall

Guys, I will be fishing Truman Lake, MO in the fall...Early October.

What tips, techniques, and colors work well there.

Keep in mind I dont have a whole lot of experience fishing water deeper than 7 ft.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would help you if I could buddy but to be honest any information I gave you would be second hand at best and at worst..........made up lol. I have never been on Truman, not really sure why but so far none of my tournament schedules have taken me there. You might check out ozarkanglers.com and look around in the forums for some help.
