All I know is that when you go ice fishing in Wisconsin you have to drill 2 holes, but 1 not all the way through the ice. On the other hole drill all the way through, you line the rim with peas and on the other hole, you line the bottom of it with ashes.
As ANY icefisherman knows, winter fish LOVE canned peas. So when a fish comes up to take a pea, you kick 'em in the ash hole.

WORKS EVERYTIME!

There are a couple of words I hear mispronounced occasionally, one of them is "Vietmanese" and the other "supposebly." Supposebly cracks me up everytime I hear it. I also hear people use "ideal" in place of idea, that one I don't get.

jrob, IDEAL is a word. "it would be IDEAL to go fishing today. but i have heard what you are saying too. it DOES seem funny.

i have another friend who pronounces DOPPER...COURPPOR....yes he uses the our when pronouncing the word. great guy, good friend....but the slang is something else. hahaha!!

Hahaha, I know ideal is a word. But not used like this, "Anybody have an ideal where I should go fishing today?"
