Difference between male/female bass
How do you tell? I don't know how... is there a difference in genitalia that can be seen on the exterior of the fish? Fish don't have boobs so I do not know how to tell the difference

Nope. The female is usually bigger, but it takes a biologist to determine if it is male or female. You can't tell just by looking.

You might be able to tell based on the size of the fishes head. Larger heads are usually found on males vs. smaller heads are usually found on females.

Without an internal exam you cannot tell. Headsize - that's bass ackwards!
On bass over 5 pounds it's easy: you have yourself a female. Under 5 pounds: time for an exam.
