Default Recipe for Baked Carp

One large Carp gutted and scaled. Hang the carp on clothes line by tail for three days. Go to farm and get two large dried cow pies ( Dried ones) Shake bugs off. After the Carp has dried for three days. Use a large baking pan. Lay one cow pie on the baking sheet, then lay the Carp on the cow pie, then the other cow pie on the Carp. It will look like a huge sandwich. Let this bake for three hrs at 300.Then take out and let cool for two hrs. When it is cooled. Take the top cow chip off off lay it on the side, then take the carp off , lay it on the side. Put the two cow pies togather, throw the Carp away and if you want, you can eat the chips... That it how Fish and Chips got started...Another one that is hard to believe.

Up near lake erie they have cheese and wine places that also sell smoked carp, I always heard if you can keep them in clean water trough for a few days and cut out the mud vein(not the band lol) its pretty decent smoked..
I'll stick to Mrs. Pauls rofl

Heard carp sells for high prices in New York since Jewish people eat it. But I dunno if this is true. hooked into some big ones at Grand Rapids, Oh on the Maumee River.
