mine was when i hooked a hog and tripped over the net and fell in the water lost the rod but most importantly the fish

i did that with my friends pole. we were goin to h.e.b. for lunch stuff and then headed to the lake ishut the door came back and the rods broke.

I was fishing on the land with my parents but we were in different spots so when someone catches a bass we call each others cell phones but I just got mine and did not know the ring tone and my mom caught a bass so she called me and I heard it and stoped fishing but I didnt think it was my phone and I sware I looked in bushes around me for about an hour for what I thought was a free phone when it was my phone in my pocket.

forgetting i had a stringer full of fish tied to the side of my boat and taking
off across the lake at full throttle. seeing fish ski was pretty amazing until i shut down the motor and the stringer broke.

I was fishing on a pond and had to pee. I pulled my jon-boat up to the shore and had to go so bad I quickly and barely pulled the boat up on land. When I came outta the bushes, my boat was several yards out.

well, to stick the line through my rod guides, i usually put the reel on the lowest drag. then i take the line andput it through. i started fishing, forgetting to change the drag bite. then when i felt something hit hard, i started reeling only to hear the sound of line being pulled away. i jerked my rod up while tightening the drag. too late, bye bye fishie. happened a while ago and man was i ticked

Was fishin around some barge pilings on the river here where I live. Had flipped the trolling motor on high bypass to pass up a mud flat and get to the next set of pilings. Let the boat drift in quiet like not using troller so I wouldn't spook any fish that might be there. After fishing awhile forgot troller was on high didn't look to see what direction it was pointed either touched the switch dang thing went wide open to the right throwing me off balance. I hit one of the cables strung between the pilings and out of the boat I went. Got wet and hurt my pride but that was the worst of it.
