I just got a new Fenwick Venture, and after readign up on it, and checking it out, I committed to it. It is 7ft MH, casting. 50 bucks too! Not a bad deal IMO. I have a shimano curado sitting on it too! Casts a country mile.
Zook, you have any experience wiht this model?

I've yet to have a bad fenwick. Even the cheap Eagle GT has good sensitivty and has held up very well for me. I think you will like them.

I'm thinkin my next one will be a fenwick, although I sure do love my lowrider. In all your other threads with pics, you used nothing but spinning gear, are you just learning to use a baitcaster or what? jw

No Spinning gear I use for my senkos/ dropshots. They were main things fish wanted. No need changin to a caster, unless needed. I did nab frog fish on casters, I only own 3 spinning 5 casters.

Oh, yeah, since I am mostly finnesse, I use spinning gear mostly, but for spinnerbaits, and chatterbaits, I use my baitcaster.
