Well guys, after giving some rods and reels away to a couple friends last year, i went out over the winter and bought 5 new setups. ( Bank Fisherman) I was just wondering if the action of rods, gear ratios and line weight is correct. Let me know... Thanks

Sheeesh...this is for bank fishing?? Must have some good clear casting room! Wish I could say that!
But....The setups look good, for land or boat,....I'm still kinda old school so I'm not up with the 6+ gears. But that ought to burn some water! I'm surprised ya didn't sneak a 7 footer in there somewhere....may get on a boat here & there!!! Sorry...BH made me do it!!

There is a lot of casting room, as most of the places i will be fishing will be from riprap to docks, upground reservoirs or around farm ponds... I tried a 7 footer but felt more comfortable with a 6' 6" rod.

I like the look of your lineup rrw. The only thing I would have done different is to have a little heavier line for my topwater baits. But thats me. I usually am fishing my topwaters very close to heavy cover if not right in it. I have to say I feel the same as you do about the 6 1/2 foot rods over the 7's. I have a seven footer as well as a 7 1/2 foot rod. I use both for working deep in the thick stuff with pig n jigs, frog baits, and so on. They are my "horse'em out" rods. However, for all the rest of my casting needs, I prefer 6 1/2 foot lengths. Maybe it's because I'm not very tall, but anything over 6 1/2 foot in rod lengths seems awkward to me. I'm much more comfortable with a 6 1/2 foot rod and do just fine with that length.
