Best wishes for a successful operation and a complete recovery and return to normal. Maybe you can take some inspiration from Alonzo Mourning and Sean Elliott, both of whom returned to the NBA for awhile after their transplants.

Bama, I don't want to repeat the message over and over again, but I hope you know we''ll be praying for you. I'm no expert, but I believe the best medicine for anything like this is the deep affection and care of a spouse.. it sure would seem Mrs. Bama has plenty of that! God Bless and please keep us posted.

bama, that is great news! and its a little ironic because just a few minutes before i read this my wife asked about mrs. bama and asked if i have heard anything. i am very excited for the both of you and we are praying hard and often for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. be sure and let her know that we are thinking of her and praying for her. if you need anything or anyone to talk to don't be shy buddy!

Thanks for keeping us in all your prayers. The Mr is going to need all the love and support he can get so give him a shout every now and then. Sometimes I forget it's just as hard on him as it is on me (if not harder). He always wants to fix it when me or a loved one is sick or hurt but sometimes thats out of our control so all we can do is hang on tight and keep up our faith.
My sister in law is a blessing from God. She's such a wonderful person as ya'll already know. I still can't beleive it's actully going to happen. Now that I'm hooked on this site I can't wait to get better so I can out fish some of ya. (Yea right)!! The Mr fixed me my own tackle box last weekend and guess what? My sister came up camping with me a skunked me with my own fishing pole and tackle. Now ain't that a fine how do ya do. Thanks again, Mrs Bamabassman |

Everybody be sure to remember bama and mrs. bama in your nighttime prayers for the next several days in particular, and the weeks after, too. Don't leave out the sister-in-law, too. She's going to have it just as tough as Lisa is, if not worse.

ok, here we go gang. AGAIN THANK YOU ALL FOR THE MANY,MANY PRAYERS AND LOVE THAT YOU HAVE SHOWN US!!!! WE LOVE EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU!!! we are leaving tomorrow morning at 5 am. the operation will be friday between 9 and 11 am. they will take donna (donor and sister-in-law, angel) in first. then lisa will go in. that is all we know right now. they said it should take more than 4 hours, give or take. donna will be in for 2 weeks at the most and she will go home. lisa will be in for up to 8 weeks. unless she is doing soo good that they let her go earlier. lol, lisa's sisters are thinking of havinga pool going on when they kick lisa out. if you met lisa you would know why, she is SOO full of energy she can't sit for 2 seconds. msboy can tell you that. he will post the results for me, as will bothomas. my phone went haywire and lost all my dang numbers from everyone else at the get together. but i have theirs. so i will call as soon as i can and let everyone know how it goes. please continue praying for my wife and sister-in-law donna anderson. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN, YA'LL ARE THE BEST FRIENDS I HAVE EVER HAD. i truly mean that gang. from the bottom of my heart. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!!!!!
