Mine was great (about 17 years ago). Enjoy your young years and don't do anything you will regret or ruin your chances at a successful life.

My best piece of advice for you is to not be afraid to try new extracurricular activities and sports. I was shy and didn't try any until high school was practically half over, and my only regret is that I didn't try them sooner.

Mine is on the 2nd. I've got some freshman orientation thing going tomorrow so we'll see how that goes. The weird thing is that I don't know ANYONE going to my school.

highschool pshh..
lol i go to an academy.. K3-12..never got a big change xcept for 7th grade getting into the highschool building.. i knew everyone so it wasnt bad.. i love "initiating " new people.. a few times in the floor with 200 ppl walking in opposite directions gets them broken in.. i was initated into varsity football today.. since i didnt play last year.. well i got it twice.. super wedgie ..lol and i'm a junior.. with my girdle and athletic shorts on i was "hoisted" about 6 feet into the air by my pants.. lol.. had my nads in a wad ![]() but after two they said i was good to go.. one kid they/we are initating into JV..is getting tapeed upside down to the goal post.. and rat tailed.. ![]() look what i found on wiki .. "Nipple cripple Also known as a "nipple twist", "ruby booby", "nipple gripple", "titty twister", or a "(purple) nurple", it is the act of taking a person's nipple between the thumb and forefinger and then twisting it around . On August 8, 2005, David Thumler, a 15-year-old living in Gold Hill, Oregon , was charged with a misdemeanor for doing this act to 13-year-old Matthew Cox. Thumler was fined US$67 and given three days of community service.[2] "

hahahaha, aaaaahhhhhhhh good ol days of school and such. my initation was to either eat tadpoles, or take a shaving cream bath (have to wear it all day. i took the shaving cream, lmao. then i was dragged through the mud (for real). and then i was taped to the goal post while they egged me (had on helmet and full pads). and had to praticed with all the eggs on. wasn't that bad, at least i didn't have to eat tadpoles. the ones that did threw up during pratice. plenty of wedgies too.senior year we changed it all to get in the "H" club. shaved heads and all. more of a "formal" intition process. went very well. all the new guys felt more like a team then. the ol titty twister thing is a bit overboard i mean what they did to the twister, not the twistie. it only hurts for a minute or 2. just goes to show ya what this world is coming to i guess.

My first day of HS was a swirling melange of harassment from Seniors; slave labor at band rehearsal under Mr. Grant (RIP)...Forwarrrrrrd! March!; and curses from Coach Faircloth and Coach Paris for not enlisting for football.
But there WAS a bright spot. My English teechur was a new arrival, the wife of an Army Captain stationed at nearby Ft.Polk. Her first name was Joy, and she'd recently been a runner-up in the Miss Tennessee/America pageant. Just lookin' at her made English class a delight. Yeeeeeeeehaaaaaaa! JOYful I was! At any given moment in her classes, at least 75% of the boys would have been embarrassed to stand to recite...you can guess why. The girls HATED her...you can guess why. About a week after school started I was pedaling along on my Schwinn when I happened to pass by the home she shared with her spouse. I heard a voice call (in that sweet Tennessee accent,) "Hello, Johnny, how are you today?" I turned my head to see the lovely Mrs. Joy A. watering some flowers...in very short shorts, barefooted, wearing a tiny halter top, not 20 feet away. I was so enthralled I failed to mind my course and speed. BAM! Mailbox 1, Lancer6 0. It wasn't all bad, though, 'cause she rushed to my side as I lay dying, knelt beside me, inquired as to my final wishes in a cinnamon chewing gum scented whisper, then walked me into La Casa de A. where she attended to my wounds. I thought "This must be Heaven." I was the happiest corpse there ever was. Then, Captain A. arrived, inquired as to why some yeasty teenage lout was lying on the couch, head cradled in his wife's lap, and laughed his AlphaSierraSierra off when informed of the mishap. He gave me a beer, insisted I stay for dinner (grilled burgers! Mmmmm.) then sent me on my way with instructions to maintain 360 degree surveillance en route lest I fall prey another ambush by a rebel mailbox. (He was a Tank Company Commander with the 1st Armored Div. I followed in his footsteps years later.) After the school year ended, a year that saw the Fighting Wampus Cats defeat their arch rival, DeRidder HS's dreaded Dragons, for the first time in several years, and the Wampus Cat Band receive a top rating at Concert Contest for the first time EVER, we moved to San Antonio (The Life Of An Army Brat!) where I spent the rest of my HS career at Douglas MacArthur HS, soon to be immersed in the Brahma Spirit, marching and trumpeting in a larger and more talented band, and daily traveling The Halls Of Honor. Ahhhh, sweet little Leesville. I miss you still. L6 Nostalgia Columnist For The BassFishin' Times. Last edited by Lancer6; 08-26-08 at 10:38 AM. |
