Default Who plays what instrument?

Well, we do have some musical types around here, thought it would be nice to share any instruments you play and some background (type of music, hoe long you've been playing, ect).
Me, I played the harmonica for most of last year, still play it but dont actively youtube new stuff as i used to... And my other instrument, brand spanking new from black friday, is a Ukulele...thought they sounded cool so i bought one. Working on Somewhere over the rainbow right now, got Mary Had a little lamb and Smoke on the water down last week XD. Trying tears in heaven (Eric Clapton) as well but not many good tutorials on that, way too fast paced.

I don't have a musical bone in my body. My wife can play the piano (classical) and my daughter is learning the piano and the clarinet.

I play guitar mainly. In about 3 different bands right now.
I'm not bad with a bass (pronounced like "base" ), I have been known to play mandolin, I can keep rhythm on a drumset, and I play just a teensy bit of piano. My wife wants me to learn saxophone...she says there's never been a sexier instrument made.

I don't know why, but I can't play anything! I grew up with 2 pianos in the house and my mom even gave lessons to others. Almost all my family members are musical from my grandpa singing in jazz bands in the 40s, family in Vienna Symphony, Houston Symphony, etc. It's something I always wished I had learned to do.

Cranky, you ever hear this guy?

Talking

Started on Trumpet in 7th grade. Earned a degree in Music via a Trumpet scholarship. Played some while in the Armored Cavalry (see: Tank) business in the Army.
Played from then on, "retiring" as (unpaid) Trumpet/Cornet/Flugelhorn/All the ^&#@*! Brass Section Leader for a great community band in 2002.
Anyone need a few good horns? Price range 175 bux to 3000 bux. Have Cornets, Trumpets, and a great Flugelhorn if you have a kid in jazz, dance, or German band.
Call BR549 or PM me.

Thats some pretty sweet stuff you guys all do... I would go ahead and pick up guitar, but everyone in my school already does... Figured I'd do something not many others do (no1 I know, actually). Might dust off my moms old banjo as well.

Bender, I have heard him before. When searching through youtube, I've found just about every good ukulele player ever videod haha
