Vacation???

Hey guys just curious, beside fishing what does everyone do for a vacation. My wife and I go to Nagshead every summer and book a house for a week with some friends. Nothing like a little surf fishing and eating up on some great, fresh seafood.

I have gone to Marthas Vinyard, and sat around the house for a week for the last couple summers.

This year, Im getting married, and then its off to Jamacia for a week, probably 2 weeks off with the wedding and honeymoon together.

We take a few small vacations rather than 1 big one. We will take 4 days at Easter and go out to a resort in Palm Springs. Another 4 day weekend in June is spent at a Disney Land resort. The family joins me in Vegas during the WSOP. I am there for about 2 weeks and them for 5 days.

I go out west skiing every year (Utah or Colorado) in the winter and then go to northern lower Michigan and golf for vacation. Maybe one year I'll go on a fishing vacation.

well i was going up to fish with kevin, 3dkicker, and capt mike but torn an mcl 3 DAYS before.. spent my vaction on crutchs and in pain...

vacation? what's that? ain't had one of them in over 3 years. hahaha, it depends on the economy, think mine is gonna be the get together, going to ssissippiboys in april, and probably campoing every weekend to cover a vacation. tha is IF we don't sell the camper. might just trade it and the pontoon for another camper. a BIGGER CAMPER. yea...that'll work.

I love the mountains, my wife loves the beach...opposites attract people, it's a fact.
We went to Disney World for New Years', and we plan on taking a couple of weekend camping trips this year sometime. I'd love to go back to Yellowstone or Yosemite someday...probably sometime far far in the future...

try to take the wife out on the harley a couple of times a year, usually do at least 1 run up to eureka springs in north arkansas. our anniversary falls on memorial day weekend so i consider that holiday fish-free every year!

camping around the country ..... go to florida and NC to visit family .... my grandparents used to own a beach house on Emerald Isle (outer banks) but they sold it

.... we used to go for a week at a time .... who doesnt love to surf fish, swim, boogey board, skim baord, and have fun

My family and I every year we find a state park somewhere close to a lake or river and we go camping for a week not as weathy as bamabassman though cant afford a camper stricktly tent camping its a nice tent its 12'x20 with a wood stove for heat made out of heavy canvas last year we went to Branson Missouri this year im thinkin about some place around Lake Fork in Texas

I go to the Upper Penninsula of Michigan skiing with 15-20 guys every year in January and then sometimes to Nags Head, NC. A family member owns a house there and lets our side of the family use it for a week.
Honestly I would like to be at home for a week since I travel a lot for work, but the wife is always home and wants to go somewhere. With the economy this year I don't think we will be going anywhere.

man i forgot i got to go to a braves game free of charge.... this kid won tickets and noone wanted to go so me, him, and his mom went ..... got to love free stff.... definately braves tickets

As a Padres fan, I don't even want to talk about horrible seasons after last year. If the Dodgers ever sign Manny I would say they should take the NL, but I actually think the Cubs have quietly put the team together. On paper the Yanks are going to be very tough to beat but both the Angels and RedSox could get into the mix as well.
I think the Mets will take the NL east but that is where they stop. I don't think the Braves will do much.

Um Bama, Spring training is off and running. If I were counting, opening day is only 33 days away.

I go to Canada in mid May. It's cold normally, but the walleye and pike hit like nuts. I just wish there were bass in the chain of lakes we fish. We also portage to some other lakes with trophy pike.

Minocqua or the UP of Michigan seems to be a yearly destination aswell.

i hate to say it but since ted turner sold the braves we have slowly went down hill now they have decided to sell smoltz to the red sox so even if the brave make it to the world series smoltz would kick their butt.

Man we go to Branson every year I am burned out on that place..
