This fish was caught in Stone Mountain Ga. What is it? Somebody said a fish called Arowana.

That right there is a grass carp. I caught one 51 pounds on a senko once , musta been in the grass the carp was eating. That guy is bigger than the one I caught.

That's a carp. An arowana is a mildly hallucigenic.... Wait, no, an Arowana is a south American fish, I don't believe they get that big. Their big claim to fame is that they spit water to knock bugs off of branches.

Yeah, arawana's only inhabit tropical rivers like the ones in Brazil. I think that might be a chub you caught yourself there.

That's no Arowana, looks like a big grass carp, and a dern big one too! I got a pond with one that size in it......

the eyes, mouth, and fins just dont match up with our grass carp..but it definately is a grass carp

that is definately a grass carp... i once watch a guy pull one in..... all of us watchin him and probably the guy thought he ahd a 10+lber..... no just a huge grass carp

Grass Carp Recipe
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2. Dress carp and place on wooden, salted and buttered board, and bake for 45 minutes 3. Remove from oven, scrape Carp into the garbage and eat the board ![]()

caught a one them 40 lb grass carps on one of my bucktail jigs. It was a hoot to fight.

They put grass carp in the lake i fish to eat some of the hydilla up,problem is they ate any and every piece of grass in the lake.I saw about a 10 acre or better area of hydrilla gone in a little over a month.This was the best big bass area for me,now its just dock or homemade structure fishing.Kill the grass carp.
