Default So long, "Sasquatch"

Looks like you beat me to Our Lord's Honey Hole, Zook, but the MDs tell me I'm not far behind, so we'll finally meet and fish together soon.
I enjoyed our good-natured sparring and the warm PMs. Your posts were entertaining and amusing.
I regret you never made it to Texas...good times never had, sad to say.

May angels guide thee to thy rest.

Rebasser posted this on 11/25/09

Our buddy Lancer6, aka Flyrod, has been diagnosed with liver cancer. He is currently in the VA hospital in San Antonio. He had an intestinal blockage that they had to surgically remove and found it on a CT scan. So far they are not sure of the treatment regimen but I'll keep you posted as I find out. Thoughts and prayers will be appreciated

WE'RE PRAYING FOR YA BUDDY.

'Ole Flyrod, you were my biggest help in gaining knowledge about fishing and technique when I started around three years ago. Always willing to help answer my pesky questions and giving me detailed explanations. I wish you the best and I really appreciate you. You'll be in my prayers.

Guys, I talk to him almost daily. He is in pretty good spirits and not doing bad, although he is definitely not one to complain. I've been trying to get him out on the water but he just doesn't feel up to it. Any new developments and I'll let you know.

Flyrod! one my favorites from my early days here. One smart, funny, knowledgeable guy. Keep the faith buddy, I'll be thinking of you.
