Default Pics from this morning.

Unfortunately they aren't pics of bass, since we didn't catch any, but it was still a beautiful morning on the water and I thought i'd share these with ya anyway. Most of the time the water was glass slick....we could see some type of activity just below the surface early on, but not much actually broke the surface. I got one bass to blow up on a Ragetail toad in the grass early, but after that we caught nothing but a few panfish.....As you can tell from the last couple of pics, Ron or I wasn't too worried about it....Bass or no bass, we was enjoyin the view.

Those are beautiful. I gotta start taking my good camera along more often and take more pics like this while I'm fishin. I really like your framing. You've got the rule of thirds down pretty well. And the exposures are dead on. That last pic with the feet and trolling motor, I really like that one.

Great pics. I'd love to fish some timber like in the 3rd pic.

Keith, you might be surprised to know that all my pics are taken with a Fujifilm 8.3mp point and shoot camera.....nuthin fancy, but it takes some decent pics....One of these days i'll get me another good SLR.

Bcklash, you are so right buddy....you are so right.

BassinBob, that beautiful little stump field has really got me stumped....it seems so perfect....lots of timber in shallow water, next to the creek channel with a grassy point nearby, and for whatever reason, I've yet to catch a bass in that area.....Go figure. I will say this about the spot....Its usually got 2-3 trotlines strung up thru the area most anytime I hit the lake....that in itself kinda torks my jaws cause it seems they are perpetually there, and no matter how hard I try not too, I'm gonna get a lure hung up on one before its said and done. Otherwise, I can't figure out why I can't seem to catch a bass in that area....Except that its the only spot like it on this small lake, and every angler that hits the water fishes that spot...Who wouldn't...Look at it....its perfect....Or is it?
