Default A friend needs some prayers.

The grandmother of a dear friend of mine had a massive stroke the other day. The doctors say now that they think she has blockage in her heart. It's serious enough that they need to do surgery soon, but she's already had two mini stokes since the main one, which makes an operation extremly risky to say the least. They are awaiting a second opinion. The first doc seemed like they'd lose her either way they went so he wants to jump in and do the surgery. His attitude in that matter isn't helping matters.

Either way it's a tough choice my friend has to make. If you could, toss up a prayer or two for guidance, strength, and maybe a miricle to the only one that realy can help.

Thanks in advance.
Stick

Well, she passed away. She held on for awhile and they tried to get her strong enough for the operation. She's in a better place I know. Still hard when a friend asks what you would do and the best you can come up with is that with the alzhiemers, the strokes and the blockage... sometimes it's best to let God and nature do what they are trying to do.

Thank you guys. I told my friend I had asked you guys to pray. She asked me to tell you she is very greatful to you for your thoughts and prayers. She is holding up good. I got a feeling it's because she really hasn't had time to think about it yet. When my father died, it really didn't hit me until after the funeral and everybody left.
