From Penn State to State Pen - reports say he'll be there for life, in "protective custody". 23 hours a day in a 6'x8' cell because authorities know they cannot let him in the general population - he wouldn't last a week. Which is a shame, let the inmates do what the State cannot, he really does not deserve to live. This was the ugliest case ever to be tried in this state and it's far from over as civil cases will go on for years, and the University's name, well Happy Valley just won't ever be the same.

knew this would be the outcome. but he'll tie up the court system with appeals for the next 20 yrs i bet. and i agree, he should be put in population. get what he did done to him. but he won't. i feel for the victims as i do for ANY victim of abuse. castration should part of the justice for people like this. first offense should warrent it too.

I agree with all of you. I just think it's a shame that those that knew this was going on and did nothing will never be held accountable in this life for their in-action. But, they will have to answer to a higher power on the other side one day.

Obviously, I don't pay attention to the news all that much

From things I've heard during the trial, Sandusky didn't seem right in the head, at all.

It;s a real shame that this was glossed over for so long. A lot of pain and suffering could have been avoided

Why? What did the kids there now have to do with it? Don't punish the football program. There are still more people that should be punished, but not the program.

I saw that too and I thought it was pretty funny.

I agree that death is probably too good for him. But I go to bed every night hoping that I wake up in the morning and see on the news that he was raped and then murdered in prison. Probably not the most Christian way to feel about it but I hope that son of a ***** dies a very slow and very very painful death.

If anything, that creates a huge incentive to cover up stuff in the future.

Yes, it's completely fair that a bunch of young men, none of whom ever had anything official to do with Jerry Sandusky (he resigned his coaching position at Penn State in 2001) should bear the brunt of the blame. Yes, screw their scholarships and education. Screw their professional football hopes. These young men are truly evil to have applied to a college where some old guy they didn't know was buggering kids.

Though I don't agree with it, I can absolutely understand why many people would have condemned Joe Paterno. I can understand it.

Attacking the whole program, with no regard to collateral damage is absurd.
