Default Need some help from the Badgers! Chain O' Rivers - Madison, WI

Just got an email about a tournament up on the Chain O' Rivers in Madison, WI in late September... I need some pointers.

1) I know fishing up there is great, but I have a feeling it will be totally different than my home waters (southern Indiana - KY- TN)

2) I was up in Michigan on Clearwater.... needless to say I hated it. It was blistering cold, and the lake was so shallow... and SO CLEAR. Something I was not used to... I wonder if WI lakes are clear as well.

So... my basic questions are... if anyone is familiar or has fished them... How is it? Dirty/Clear water etc...

Would love to hear anyone's input! At this point... I'll go up there with spools of braid and fluro... and an assortment of bait...I guess if anyone is familiar... what would they suggest to throw in late September up there? Also... if anyone could tell me structure like if there are stumps... lily pads.. etc. As you can tell, I am clueless... Only thing I know is its a 7 hour drive lol.
