Hey Gang! That's right, my week vacation in SC has saddly ended. I did NOT want to leave!! I had a blast!! It was great to actually meet some of the SC guys (and visit the Garage Mahal...one of the SC guys has it..it's just what they call where they have their meetings)! Not to mention the Large Mouth were amazing!
I also got to meet up with Ray Sedgewick at his Resort on the Lake. He's a great guy and is second on the Horizon Awards. Very fired up as well! Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, I did get to the BPS in Savanna, GA. Holy crap!! I have never been so overwhelmed in a store before and picked up a load of goodies! :hyper: (I kind of spent $825.00) I picked up an Chronarch MG and a few All Star rods, a pair of Costa Del Mar glasses and other misc stuff. Let's just say I shipped three boxes up and a bazooka rod tube. It was very cold. (Yeah, I kind of brought it down with me I guess). That didn;t stop me from fishing! I did some sight fishing on Santee. I caught a 3.5 off of a bed. I loved it. It was amazing how clear the water is and the size of their carp! I thought ours were large in NY! Um, let's see, I also a did a lil' Carolina Rigging on Santee as well. Then basically the rest of the week I spent it on the Cooper and would start the day cranking and then switch to flipping and pitching. The alligator grass was kind of thick at times. I lost a VERY nice fish due to it! I was livid! Literally I saw it roll at thge top and go right back down to the bottom. I'm looking forward to heading back down to SC for a Rally in October. I was invited back hehe! If you haven't been to SC I highly recommend it! Nice fish Trista. I looks as though you had a great time fishing. How'd your guide wear work out?

WOnderful trip it sounds like, and some nice fish to boot. I'm gonna hit Santee and a few others this year, just not sure when yet. Got family that lives there, in Isle Of the Palms, and North Charleston.
