Question,
Let's say your in pre-spawn conditions. Water high 50's to 60. Relatively clear water. Your in a classic pre-spawn location. Lets say it's the mouth of a small main lake cove. There is tons of gnarly under water brush – lots of thick stuff, no real "isolated" cover, just lots of it. No grass. What's your first second and third lure choice and why? I know a lot of guys will say a jig. Why is the jig as apposed to a Texas rig plastic always a top choice at this time? Just want some other guys thoughts. My choice would probably be #1 – Jig (not because it always works for me but because I just love fishing one) #2 – suspending jerkbait, #3 – Tex. Rigged tube. Comments? Thanks.
