Went out to some private lakes 6/ 30 and 7/01 with my friend James. He started off the mourning with his personal record 7 lbs 4 oz.
![]() We managed some respectable 3-5 lb bass among the 60+ we caught. ![]() ![]() ![]() But then, I had a mighty tug on a small 6" worm. The bass jumped and my heart stopped. I threw the trolling motor in full reverse and battled her out of the cat tails. Finally getting a grip on the largest bucketmouth I've ever caught -8 lbs 13 ozs. ![]() ![]() I've checked this scale against a postal scale, and found it to weigh 1 oz less at 10 lbs. ![]() Capped the day off with one 7 lbs 5 ozs. ![]()
