Reel Choices
Hey guys, as some you may know, I've been looking at baitcasting reels for the Guntersville trip. I just wanted your opinions on some reels.
I've been looking at the Abu Garcia Revo STX and Premier, the Daiwa Zillion or Feugo, the Pflueger Supreme. I've looked on Cabela's at the reviews and the Supreme got some poor reviews, although my son said he likes the dual break system on the Pflueger, and thinks it would be easier for me to re-learn on. I'll be putting the reel on a 7' MH G-Loomis rod and mostly be throwing plastics and spinnerbaits, and maybe crankbaits. The thing I am most concerned about is being able to throw small spinnerbaits and weightless plastics. Thanks, kingfish |
