08-03-08 Sunday morning
I went to the neighborhood ponds this morning and tried the torpedo. I had a few misses but lost patience after 15 minutes of nothing on the big pond. I then went to the narrow one with a weightless cc lizard. I tore them up. 6 in 1 hour. They were all around 3/4 to 1 pound except for #5. I hooked into him and he felt normal until he jumped way out of the water. He was about 6 inches out of the water and I said holy crap. I fought this sucker to the bank and he weighed 1 lb 15 oz. Sorry no pic. I still have not broken the 2 lb mark but that was the biggest one I have caught in our ponds. At least I know they are getting bigger.
