Yearly Reminder
If you are storing rods and reels in a cold garage or other structure, be sure to not only loosen the drags for storage, but also loosen the reel seating device to avoid cracking as often the reel seat material and the reel foot do not contract and expand at the same rate, thus causing cracking.
