Help with Swimbait presentation.....
Been fishing Rancho Seco lately with a 9" quick snap Castaic swimbait (Rainbow Trout color). This is the one that has the treble hook and the big plastic diving lip.
Only had one fish follow it up to the boat. I have varied my retrieve and tried everything I can think of. I can't fish this bait like a worm since it doesn't sink. Would I be better off using a sinking bait that I can deadstick or is the bait that I have a better choice? If you can reccomend a better bait than I have for Seco, please do. Thanks. Freebirdz |
