Odd day on the lake

Rebbasser and I delayed our usual 0500 launch until around 0930 due to anticipated bad weather...which never materialized, BTW. Fished for a little over 4 hours and things were slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
Again, as in recent weeks, no TW bite, 'cept I did miss a SPRO Frog hit right at the boat. We wound up with 8 dinks, all on soft stuff as usual.
I caught three of mine on a backward rigged trick worm, much to Reb's and my amazement, and we gave our new secret weapon lure a test swim. No fish caught on it but it shows great promise.
We caught the rest on Tikis and dropshot, as I recall.
