Default line visibility

this year i used sufix braid.last year i used cajun red cast.cajun red cast is the least visible line made besides flourocarbon.this is a fact.i have done a lot of research on this on the web and read many articles by divers and underwater photographers on the subject.red greys out as it goes deeper.translucent red line greys out even faster and becomes camoed in the water making it hard to see.this year on braid i caught 1/2 as many fish as i did last year when i was using cajun red cast.the average size fish was also smaller and i had more 5 lbers last year.i've never been one to think that line visibility mattered but i went fishing the same amount of times at basically the same times as last year.did i just have a bad year or does it really matter?i think i will switch back to cajun red cast and see what happens this coming season.
