Default Small, And I Mean Small Farm Pond Problem

I Fish In A Small Pond Back Home, And There Are Quite Large, Up To 9 Or 10 Lb Bass In It. The Problem That I Have Is That About Half Of The Year You Cannot Fish It Because Of The Weedbeds Are Thick And Solid From Top To Bottom. I Had A Small Homemade Boat, Till It Sank... Just Some Barrels And Boards Slapped Together. That Was Fun While It Lasted And I Could Get Past The 15 Feet Of Weeds. Now I Am Stuck To The Shore. Is There Any Way That I Could Get Past This?? Any Lures Or Anything?
