Default Help from some strangers

I had a bad, and then a very great experience today that I thought I'd share. I had the afternoon off, so I decided to go practice crankbaitng in a small little pond close by home. I picked up my boat headed to the pond, and launched the boat. When trying to pull out I realized I was stuck . I called my dad, who was possibly gonna join me later, and said even if you don't come fishing, bring me a shovel. Now I went ahead and fished, since there was nothing else to do until dad got there. I caught a couple of keepers, and then a jeep pulled in with 2 waverunners on a trailer My first thought was they were lost, but then they looked at my truck there, and moved father down to launch their waverunners. Mind you this pond is about 5-7 acres big I went down and apologized for blocking what I thought was the only ramp, and they asked if I was stuck. I of course turned red, and admitted to it . They offered to help me out with their 4 wheel drive. I said thank you, and said when they were ready to leave, I would be very grateful for the help. Well the jetted around, but the waverunners weren't running right(they were local mechanics testing them out ) Then then came over and were ready to help out, but had the trailer hooked up. At that moment another young man pulled in with a big 4-wheel truck and asked if he could help. He had a tow strap and had me out in seconds I didn't even have a beer to offer them, but did give the last guy a Mt Dew, and offered to give them some cash. They all declined and said they were happy to help out Just thought some of you would like to know there are still some good guys out there everyday who will help you out in a jam. I of course was not gonna try to launch my boat again from the other ramp, not having 4-wheel drive bites, after having it for the last 10 years
