Guess I am lucky to be here in Texas where our Wildlife Dept seems to be managing the resource better. I am 61 and for sure bass are as plentiful or more plentiful and they are much bigger than they were 20-30 years ago. But I am not a biologist, most fishermen aren't, that is why I go with the regulations/laws the TPWD put out and don't attempt to be a biologist. If they say I need to use barbless hooks I will, if they say don't keep any bass to eat I won't ---- until then I will do as I please as long as I am following the laws and regulations of this state---and sorry but NOBODY better tell me I am wrong.
