Wondering where i've been?

I'll tell you anyways, i've been doing a lot of saltwater flat fishin in the Gulf, producing good fish too. i've gone to pretty much just artificial [which i usually dont do in salt water, i usually have some kinda shrim or pinfish out...] anyways but yeah the artificial bite has been on the past few weeks on the flats... plenty of trout, bluefish, mackeral, too many shark[my stepdad caught a 6 foot black tip a few weeks ago, and i hauled in a ft'er last weekend] catfish, lots of little grunts and sea bass[although i actually caught a keeper last weekend] and the occasional flounder, and cobia when we hassle with the crowds and fish the bouys. I've been tearing them up on jigged grubs and tubes. My stepdads been using them biodegradable GULP flukes and what not, they are nice but the pinfish tear right through them. I'm about ready for Wednesday to roll around so that i can get back out on the water. would do some bass fishin, but all the ponds are pretty dried up and cant really get out to the water. Although i have found some very nice farm ponds i'd love to fish, all i ave to do is track down the house thats hidden somewhere on the land and ask for permission... ha wish it was more like the days when you could just fish, and people wouldnt mind. anyways thought i'd fill you all in.
