Default Lunch Time Bass

I was able to go to some ponds at lunch time yesterday and make a few casts from the bank. This one particular pond has a pocket in the NW corner that is always warmer than the rest of the pond. The wind was blowing into that corner and it was 75 degrees. Whenever I get that setup in the Spring that spot is AWESOME!!! Well I tossed a blade in the back of the pocket and whacked a 4.7 lber. This fish was MEAN! I also missed a big fish. With the wind howling I thought I was in a brush pile and it turned out to be a big fish and she came off. Dang it! I did catch one more about 2 lbs. on a jig then had to go back to work. Not too bad a lunch break! Here's a pic of the bigger bass. Best I could do by myself.

BTW... I caught this fish with the trailer hook. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't have caught it!
